Howling Acres Ranch
About Us

We are currently in the process of getting our ranch up and running.  Our house is complete and we are loving the space.  We look forward to offering outstanding service.

Ed and I will celebrate our anniversary in June (13 years) and we have an eleven year old son.  Jaiden keeps us busy and we are so proud of our now sixth grader.  Six years ago, we moved here to Wyoming from Oregon.  Ed grew up in Oregon and me, in Montana.

We are so excited to be improving ourselves and our ranch daily.  Every day is a new begining and we are honored to know each and every one of you.

Our horse family continues to grow and we can't wait for more.

(2008) Yikes!  I was worried about sawed off fingers.  Jaiden proved my worries undue and did a great job.

First snow fall October 2008

Since it was quite warm out, we played in the snow for hours.  By the second day, the snow was all melted away leaving a muddy mess.  It was fun while it lasted!

It was fun seeing it put together.

Each pilar of blocks is setting on a concrete tube deep into the ground and the rebar was welded to the frame.  This is considered a permanent foundation in our neck of the woods.  Much cheaper than a 'real' foundation.  It was then tied down with traditional tie-downs on top of that.  This house is going no where!  :)
